This is a must read ebook for all bloggers.
In spite of it concentrating on British Libel Laws, it helps because we find that libel laws in all other countries are far more simple and easy, and less strenuous than their British counterparts. Then again, the problem is that a person suing you for libel can choose to do so in any country (under any country’s laws) and the one most opted for is the UK.
The book details what libel and slander are, how you should recognise a libel threat, how you should react to a libel threat, how you can confirm that a threat is for libel, the basic requirements you should make sure exist, how you should decide what to do with the text/picture in question, how you should decide whether to take action or defend yourself in a court of law, what not to be misled about and lastly the various lawyers/agencies you can contact for more information about these laws. A quick, interesting, compulsory read for bloggers!
